Get ready for an unforgettable week of high-flying adventure! During
this immersive aviation camp, Girl Scouts will explore the exciting
world of aviation through hands-on experiences, behind-the-scenes
tours, and direct interaction with aviation professionals across the
Phoenix area.
Each day, participants will travel from the
Parsons Leadership Center to a different aviation site-ranging from
one of the busiest airports in Arizona to a commercial airline-owned
aviation academy, a municipal airport, and a helicopter training
school. Through these unique experiences, girls will gain insight into
a wide variety of aviation careers including pilots, air traffic
control, maintenance, engineering, and airport operations.
What
girls will experience:
* Exclusive airport tours, including
airfield and operations areas
* Hands-on flight simulators
and aircraft exploration
* Meet-and-greets with aviation
professionals and instructors
* STEM-based activities focused
on aerodynamics and flight principles
* Exposure to
specialized aviation fields, including helicopter training

and career exploration in a supportive, all-girl environment. Whether
participants dream of becoming pilots or are simply curious about how
aviation works, they will leave with a broader understanding of the
industry and the many paths available to them.
This not an overnight camp. Girl's must be dropped off and picked up at Parson's everyday for the week.
