EVENT OVERVIEW:
Our Annual Meeting is a great way to engage in our movement's business and network with our Girl Scout family. Our bylaws require an Annual Meeting of the corporate membership, (comprised of board members, nominating committee members, and council delegates) and is conducted in April every year.
Join GSACPC for our 2023 Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 22, as we celebrate our council's accomplishments from the past year, elect key board positions, and highlight exceptional programs and experiences for girls. After the meeting, girls will host a live interview onstage with our Co-CEOs, Mary Mitchell and Christina Spicer. This event is open to all GSACPC members, and older Girl Scouts are encouraged to join!
Ways to Attend: April 22, 2023, Annual Meeting will be held as an inclusive, hybrid event for in-person attendance at Parsons Leadership Center for Girls and Women at Camp South Mountain in Phoenix and virtually by Zoom. Review the Zoom closed caption set-up document before the meeting begins.
Did you know you do not have to be a Council Voting Member to attend Annual Meeting? The event is open to all members. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the 2021- 2022 membership year with you.
Thank you for your interest in attending our 2023 Annual Meeting. As of April 17, registration for in-person attendance is closed. However, you may join us virtually by registering for the Zoom meeting—with login credentials (Meeting ID: 992 3239 7878 Passcode: Annual). GSACPC staff are required to attend in person.
NEW OPPORTUNITY! After you attend Annual Meeting (in person), you are strongly encouraged to stay for another hour to learn about important topics our council delegates will vote on during The 56 th National Council Session (NCS) being held in Orlando in July 2023.
Some of our national delegates will provide summaries of the planned NCS topics and solicit your feedback on questions and suggestions that you have on these topics. If you can't make this one, our national delegates will hold information-gathering sessions, both live and on Zoom in the upcoming months.
Council's Hybrid Decision: Over the last few years, we shifted our council’s Annual Meeting to a virtual experience to ensure the safety of our members during the height of the global pandemic. During this process, we discovered it allowed more members across our jurisdiction to participate without enduring hardships. We also understand members of our Girl Scout family have missed gathering face-to-face. A hybrid Annual Meeting hopes to meet all needs.
