Be the Troop Leader that supports her every week—the one that watches her smile get bigger as she grows more confident. Mentor a Girl Scout Cookie Professional during cookie season so she can earn enough to reach the goals she and her troop set. Or work with other adults to provide the kind of behind-the-scenes support that makes it possible for her to make impactful new memories at Girl Scouts.

Troop Leader

Become a Troop Leader and make a lasting impact on girls’ lives.

You will appreciate spending quality time with your daughter and her friends. Of course, you don’t need a daughter to be a leader.

And you’re never going it alone. Troops are required to have at least two unrelated adults at events and meetings. So you’ll always have a partner to help out. Many troops have multiple co-leaders.

There’s an abundance of online resources and training available, as well as in-person meetings to help you get started and have a successful and fun year.

Assist with driving, activity planning, snacks, money management, or other tasks necessary to keep the troop running oh-so-smoothly from week to week.

We have many roles for various interests, including camp and outdoor specialists and event support. You can also mentor teen girls, become an IRM guide, and more!

Cookie Volunteer

Coordinate the annual cookie sale at the troop level. Set up cookie booths, manage inventory and money, and then watch the girls light up when they earn rewards for being the best cookie sellers ever!

Short-Term Volunteer

Whether you are available for a one-time event, just a few hours a month, or have much more time to share, we have a volunteer role for you! We need adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to be a positive role model.
