Get Outdoors Challenge

“It’s in our DNA. Our founder, Juliette Gordon Low, was a famous lover of nature. Today, Girl Scouts honors her legacy by promoting respect and love of the great outdoors far and wide.”

March 1 - April 30, 2019

Join in GSACPC's 3rd annual Get Outdoors Challenge! This challenge can help girls work on badges, Journeys, and Take Action projects. Most importantly, it will get us outdoors where our mind, body and spirit can grow in ways for which there is no app. Keep checking this page for updates, special events, submission links and more.

STEP 1 – Register

Form your team! This can be your troop, your fellow sisters, or just you and your family.

Register your team for the 2019 Challenge. Registration closes Apr. 1!

Keep an eye out for a confirmation email once you register your team.

STEP 2 – Get Outdoors

Grab your team and get outdoors! Check off activities as you go and log them into your tracker. We love when you do activities more than once, but you will only get points for the first time the activity is completed. The Bonus Page allows teams to earn extra points while completing activities. Use the Critter Hunt to log the animals you see during your adventures. Get 10 points for finding their footprints, seeing them, or getting a photo. Teams can also earn bonus points for coming up with your own team challenge. Get creative! You never know, your idea may end up on the Challenge Checklist next year.
