Join GSACPC for a powerful evening of inspiration, reflection, and
leadership as we celebrate Women's History Month with a special
screening experience designed just for Girl Scouts.
During
Becoming Me, girls will watch the acclaimed documentary Becoming,
exploring the story of former First Lady Michelle Obama and her
journey of growth, resilience, and purpose. Through her story, Girl
Scouts will be encouraged to reflect on their own paths and discover
the limitless possibilities of who they can become.
This event
is proudly presented in partnership with She Achieves, bringing
together community leaders committed to empowering the next generation
of girls.
The evening will begin with a welcome and recognition
of Women's History Month, followed by an introduction to the Becoming
Me Journal - a special take-home resource designed to help girls
explore their voice, strengthen their confidence, and capture their
dreams for the future.
After the film, girls will experience an
engaging live panel discussion featuring women in leadership,
moderated by a Girl Scout. Panelists will share real-life experiences,
lessons in perseverance, and advice to inspire girls as they begin
shaping their own leadership journeys.
Girls will enjoy pizza,
drinks, and popcorn during the event, creating a relaxed and
community-centered atmosphere.
Each Girl Scout will leave not
only inspired but equipped with her journal - a reminder that her
story matters and that leadership begins with believing in her own potential.
