In this engaging two-hour course, girls will use their imagination to rewrite the history of the pieces, promoting values such as equality and non-discrimination by envisioning roles where soldiers can achieve certain statuses without bias.

Parents are encouraged to download the Lichess application for future learning. STEM the Gap Academy will guide them on how to engage their daughters in learning chess through this platform.

No prior chess experience or chessboards are needed, as activities will be conducted using a virtual chessboard. Girls will earn a chess patch with a knight charm and badge. The chess patch is included.
