Like Mechanical Engineering, chess helps develop critical thinking,
problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. Join us for a two-hour
program designed to teach girls the fundamentals of chess, including
each piece's names, movements, and values.
Participants will learn how to play chess and explore real-world
applications of chess strategies. We'll draw connections between chess
and everyday scenarios, showing how skills like decision-making and
planning can be applied to various aspects of life.
No prior chess experience or chessboards are needed, as activities
will be conducted using a virtual chessboard.Girls will earn a chess
patch with a pawn charm and badge. The chess patch is included.
