In this workshop, Girl Scouts will explore how programmers create fun and helpful games and apps. They'll start by learning how video games are designed, using algorithms and sequences to plan their very own maze game. After building and testing their game, they'll look for ways to improve it, just like real programmers do! Then, they'll discover how apps work by designing one that solves a problem. Through breaking big problems into smaller steps and sharing their ideas, Daisies will see how technology can be used to help others and make the world a better place.
