Girl Scouts Love State Parks
Lead the Way By Caring for Your Parks!
Every year, Girl Scouts explore the natural wonders found across our country during the Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend. In Arizona, Girl Scouts and their families can attend events hosted by Cattail Cove and Riordan Mansion, or explore the other outstanding state parks on their own.
Grab your backpack and head out to your local state parks for self-guided tours, family hikes, water sports, stargazing, and more! Registration includes the 2025 Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors patch, which will be sent out after the weekend is complete.
Registration does not include entrance to the state parks, though discounted entrance and camping rates may be available. Please get in touch with msavarese@girlscoutsaz.org with any questions.

Options for participants:
- Explore any state park on your own
- Go to Cattail Cove for a day of activities led by their rangers
- Go to Riordan Mansion for GS activities
- Go to Lyman Lake for a hike and a tour of a pueblo

Given the high temperatures, before you head out, remember to be safe by bringing water, sunscreen, and a hat, and using the buddy system during your outdoor activities.
