Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) is a non-profit organization seeking volunteer leaders to join our dynamic Board of Directors. More information on our council is available at https://www.girlscoutsaz.org.
Our Council Board Leaders/Directors are dedicated to our organization’s mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. Serving on the Board of Directors is an extraordinary opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the council’s Mission, Core Values, Promise and Law, and serving girls across our jurisdiction. The Board of Directors plays a central role in the governance and leadership of Girl Scouts—Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. Responsibilities include facilitating and leading the governance of the organization, fulfilling fiduciary obligations, and being a champion for girls. The Board meets six times a year and hosts an annual retreat.
Applications will be reviewed and assessed by the Board Development Committee. Members-at-Large shall be elected by the voting members of the council for a term of three (3) years. Terms of office shall begin at the close of the Annual Council Meeting at which elections are held.
If you or someone you know would like to apply to be a member of the Board of Directors, please complete this application. If you have questions, please contact Kathy Martin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications are due by January 8, 2024, by 7:00 p.m. MST.
GSACPC is accepting applications for girls to join the Girl Advisory Board and serve a one-year term. Girl Advisory Board Members are non-voting positions for girls ages 14 to 18. This opportunity allows girls to participate in the governance of the council at the board level, bringing their voices and experiences to board deliberations and decisions. Girls who serve on the board and board committees play a significant role in shaping Girl Scouts' ongoing work as a role model for other girls and the power of girl leadership at every level in our council.
Applications are due by January 8, 2024, 7:00 p.m. MST.
