Work At Camp

Build memories and your resume this summer!

Camp is more than a job - it's an opportunity to make your summer meaningful. You have the power to change a girl’s life while having fun at camp yourself. Days are spent discovering the outdoors, STEAM education, our inner artists, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Share your talents with us to help build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place!

If you enjoy working with children, making a positive difference in others' lives, challenging yourself with new experiences, meeting new people, and working in a supportive environment, a position at one of our GSACPC camps could be a great fit

Our council has four amazing camp properties that welcome girls every summer for a fun and unique programming experience. From painting pottery and canoeing to ziplining and rock climbing, the adventures at Girl Scout Summer Camp are never-ending!

As a camp staff team member, you will work alongside experienced camp professionals who will guide and support you as you promote growth and confidence in girls who are experienced or first-time campers. Prepare for your first year of college, learn how to manage finances, collaborate with others, and foster a community of friendship and encouragement. Whether you want to be a teacher, psychologist, engineer, or designer – apply the skills you’ve learned at camp to any profession!

Housing, Meals, and Commuting to Camp

Northern Arizona camp staff will reside on-site for the entire camp season from late May through July, with end dates dependent on camp placement. Our northern camps are Shadow Rim Ranch, Willow Springs, and Maripai. Staff will receive a two-hour daily break and a 24-hour weekly break. Lodging and meals are provided.

Resume Building Tips

1. Include all the pertinent information in a readable, standard format. Your resume should include your contact information along with your experience and education.

2. Most sections are optional—you may include a skills section or objective, but it's not required.

3. When describing your achievements, use action words like led, researched, tutored, and created to emphasize your experiences' value rather than just listing what you did.

  • You can create your first resume using this template.
