What is an encampment?

Encampments are when a troop, group or neighborhood visit one of the council's five GSACPC camps from late August to early May for a day, weekend or longer. Some groups plan their own meals and programs and others use available program opportunities and hire a caterer. Use the resources on this page to discover more about your camps, what they have to offer and how to reserve space. NOTE: Camp Sombrero has limited availability as we prepare for the incredible renovations that will transform the camp into the Girl Scouts Leadership Center at Camp Sombrero. Please call 602-452-7038 to check specific availability. [Click here] to learn more about the exciting changes to come!
