Eleven year old Gillian Perdue understands what it means to be a young woman of courage, confidence and character. On May 7, 2011, at a friend’s home in Scottsdale, Gillian used the skills she acquired as a Junior Girl Scout to save a life.

The staff of Safe Child Center at Flagstaff Medical Center would like to thank the members and leaders of Girl Scout Troop 132 for their generosity and efforts during the past school year. Safe Child Center, a child advocacy center serving Flagstaff and Northern Arizona, was adopted by this compassionate and hard-working group.

Girl Scouts from Globe and Miami have gone above and beyond this year to make sure our troops overseas get a batch of cookies. The Girl Scouts set up cookie sales at local grocery stores and placed a special sign up telling cookie lovers that they can donate their box to the SOS for future care packages. They collected over 800 boxes to send to our troops. Click below to read more...
