Women’s History Month and Taste of Camp Carnival was Fun for Everyone!

On Saturday, March 24th, Girl Scouts from across our council came together to celebrate Women's History Month, and kick off the upcoming camp season at the Women's History Month and Taste of Camp Carnival!

Held at our own Camp Sombrero in Phoenix, Girl Scouts and their families enjoyed a variety of camp activities (face painting, making s'mores, singing and astrology) and activities in honor of women's history month. They learned how to made corn husk dolls and butter by hand--the way women would have in frontier days, and some even participated in a fashion show of vintage Girl Scout uniforms!

Girl Scouts who participated in the fashion show pose for a photo!
