Girl Scouts Donate 15,000 Packages of Cookies to St. Mary’s Food Bank!

Posted: Apr 25, 2012

During this year's Cookie Program, Girl Scouts across our council asked customers if they would like to purchase a box of cookies to donate to various organizations  including St. Mary's Food Bank as part of our council's Gift of Caring Program. After it was all said and done, 15,000 packages of cookies were collected for St. Mary's.

The cookies were delivered to the food bank on Monday, April 23rd. Shamrock Farms matched our donation, and gave 10,000 boxes of milk to St. Mary's as well.

Media was there to capture the special day. Click below for a clip from Channel 3!

Awesome work, Girl Scouts!
