Hand-print Christmas Tree: get your troop together to make a troop tree! Each girl can dip her hand in the paint and leave her print on the canvas to make a tree.
What you’ll need:
- A canvas (size will depend on your troop size – the more girls, the bigger the canvas!)
- Green and brown paint
- Paper plates
- A paint brush
- Gold glitter
Put green paint on paper plates for
girls lay their hands in it.
Have them place hands on the canvas in the formation of a Christmas tree.
Make a star shape out of glue at the top of the tree.
Sprinkle glitter over glue.
Shake off extra glitter.
Hang up your beautiful troop tree for all to see!
For the extra crafty troops: Add some ornaments! Let your troop unleash creativity to come up with fun ways to add ornaments to the tree. Great things to use include: red paint, pom-poms, sequins, or glitter! Just be sure to use glue to make sure everything stays secured.
