Troop Tuesday: Spreading the love for literacy

Because they love to read, Junior Troop 1135 found a great way to inspire others.

Troop 1135 built a lending library for campers at The Parsons Leadership Center at Camp South Mountain. The girls hosted a book drive, made bookmarks, and painted and decorated a bookshelf.

Together, they collected a total of 375 books and presented the completed lending library to the camp director, Kitty, and they earned their Bronze Award in the process! Great work, girls!
