Troop Tuesday: Taking acts of kindness to heart

Kindness and compassion are two things this incredible troop is embracing. To celebrate their last troop meeting of the year, Junior Troop 1204 wanted to give back to the community by spreading random acts of kindness.

The girls decided to deliver thoughtful gifts to local organizations in their community. To do this, they made a list of local businesses from whom to request donations, wrote a script to explain their plan and then mapped out local organizations to receive the gifts.

Thanks to the generous donations from Fry’s Food & Drug, Sprouts, Bosa Donuts and Floridino’s Pizza and Pasta, Troop 1204 delivered donuts to Chandler Police Department, stuffed animals to Chandler Fire Station, pizza to Dignity Health Chandler Hospital, flowers to Solterra Senior Living, Atria Chandler Villas Assisted Living and Brookdale Central Chandler and dog treats to Cooper’s Chance Animal Rescue and One Dog Arizona.

And it doesn’t stop there! The girls delivered pasta dinner supplies to three randomly chosen homes and left a cup full of pennies at three fountains for free wishes!

Troop 1204 certainly knows how to conquer the world, one random act of kindness at a time. Keep up the great work girls!
