World Thinking Day

Each year on February 22nd, Girl Scouts from around the world participate in activities, games, and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries. World Thinking Day not only gives girls a chance to celebrate international friendships, but is also a reminder that Girl Scouts of the USA is part of a global community: one of nearly 150 countries with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
Over 1000 Girl Scouts were invited to visit 40 different countries at our council Thinking Day event on Saturday February 5, 2011! Council volunteers, troops, groups and community partners created world class learning opportunity for our local "world travelers." Stay tuned for photos and stories about our local celebration of world sisterhood.
