What PARENTS say about Willow Springs, Shadow Rim, Camp Sombrero and Camp Maripai!
"She had an absolutely marvelous time. This was her first time to be away from home for a week, and she did not attend with any friends. She made great friends, tried all kinds of new activities, and can't wait to go again next year. She's already thinking of 2 weeks next year. What a wonderful growth experience for her."
"Alexis learns leadership skills when she goes away to camp. She always comes back more confident and independent. I highly recommend summer camp to all of my friends who are leaders because it is our daughter’s only chance to experience camp independently from their moms. It stretches them emotionally and they grow in such positive ways."
"She isn't afraid of bugs!! You may laugh, but she really didn't like bugs and now it's no big deal. She also realized that her assigned chores at home were no big deal. She was amazed to find that some girls didn't know how to sweep or hold a dust pan!"
"This was Mac's first camp experience and she love it. Even though she came to camp with a bunk buddy she branched out and made new friends. She loves the outdoors and enjoyed the cabin life with all of her bunk mates. The taste of independence in a controlled environment was great for her. She felt very included in every game and made a point of saying the counselors encouraged all the girls to participate in all activities. Thank you to everyone for everything they did to make her experience terrific!"
