“Just Us” Social Justice Programs for Girls

What are the "Just Us" programs?

Besides the familiar Girl Scout troop program activities in neighborhoods throughout our council's jurisdiction, an important goal of GSACPC is to provide a range of free services to girls residing in low-income neighborhoods, housing projects, homeless shelters and girls involved in the juvenile justice and corrections systems. These outreach programs are offered under the umbrella of We Believe in Girls.

We focus in four main program areas:

• GSBB (Girl Scouting Beyond Bars)
• GSDC (Girl Scouting in Detention Centers)
  • Adelante Jovencitas-Young Women Moving Forward
• Girl Scouts Baby Camp
