GSACPC Hosts Event to Honor Legacies of Civil Rights Activists!

On Saturday, May 4th, 2013, to honor the legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King and Cesar Chavez, our council will host, “Lights, Camera, Action… Celebrating and documenting life-long journeys of service inspired by the legacies of Dr. King and Cesar Chavez”. This event is designed to teach girls about the importance of civic engagement through service and will provide opportunities for girls to learn about the civil rights movement in Arizona and how civic engagement made a difference in this movement.

Latest research released - Having it All: Girls and Financial Literacy

The Girl Scouts Research Institute has officially released "Having It All" Financial Literacy study! The findings illustrate that girls feel empowered to live the life they want. They want to be able to own a home, provide for their families, AND give back to their community--truly have it all! Check out the full study for more insight.
