Welcome! Thank you for your interest in sharing your time and talents with girls. You are embarking on a fun-filled and rewarding journey where you will build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Follow these steps to become a Girl Scout Volunteer.

Application

•  Click [here] to fill out a volunteer application and complete a background check
•  Complete the application form and then press the submit button. You will then be directed to complete the background check. (The average turn-around time is about two weeks onceboth steps are completed)

Orientation – you do not need to wait for background clearance to complete this step

You will receive confirmation of successful completion of your background check via email. Your Getting Started Coach or a staff member will contact you to arrange your Getting Started Training.
Tip: start a three ring binder to organize the information you will receive in your volunteer learning courses. Bring this binder, along with the tools you use to mark important information such as highlighters or colored post-it tabs, to your Getting Started training.
