  • TIPS – Be the best saleswoman you can be:
    • Safety first! Safety is always Girl Scouts’ first priority when participating in product programs.
      • Know what you can and can’t do to make sure you are safe while out selling.
      • Take the Online Safety Pledge
    • Know your product!
    • Why you are selling? Let customers know!
      • One of the most important things you can do to close a sale is tell your customers why you are selling.  Are you saving money to visit the Grand Canyon with your troop? Have a community project planned?  Make sure you have set a goal so you can let your customers know!

Program Details
Product Program concepts and the 5 Skills learned are most commonly utilized during cookie program, but are applicable to all Product Program activities and can be adapted accordingly.

  • Share Donations – support military men and women through the USO and Operation Gratitude
    • Girl Scouts will make a difference with each Share item sold. The gift of magazines and nuts will be a welcome treat for a soldier far from home.
      •  Each $5 purchase toward magazines will be sent to the USO in the form of a voucher to be redeemed by the men and women serving our country. Operation Gratitude will be the recipient of every $5 of nut products and those items will be distributed overseas at the end of the sale.
      • For every five Share items a girl sells she will earn a patch in recognition of her contributions.
