Limited Edition State Forty Eight Tees Support GSACPC Gold Award Scholarships!
To mark International Day of the Girl this year, Girl Scouts of the USA is leading a nationwide celebration of the Gold Award to show how Girl Scouts change the world for good. To further support our Council’s Gold Award Girl Scouts and their impact on our local communities, GSACPC has collaborated with State Forty Eight to offer these special limited-edition shirts now thru Nov. 13! Purchasing a shirt is an excellent way to show that you are a champion for girls while contributing to educational scholarships that help our boldest future leaders move toward their goals and careers.
Being a Gold Award Girl Scout is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting; it reflects the dedication, fortitude, leadership, and a commitment to service. Girls pursuing this prestigious honor are genuinely passionate about initiating change in the world and do so when completing their Gold Award Project, which demonstrates extraordinary leadership, measurable and sustainable impact, and addresses an issue of local, national, or global significance. This may include shining a light on the gender gap within the STEM community, creating art that represents an overseen demographic, or even starting a nonprofit! The projects they complete express the values they learned as Girl Scouts and the social impact they hope to continue throughout their lives.
Each year, GSACPC awards up to $15k in academic scholarships to local Gold Award Girl Scouts, thanks to generous supporters like you! Priced at $48, and available in various sizes, proceeds from these shirts will also directly fund GSACPC Gold Award Scholarships this year. Last year we raised over $12,000 to support local Gold Award Girl Scouts.
Shirts are now available for preorder until Nov. 13, 2022. The price includes shipping costs. Orders will be mailed by Dec. 18.
