With four different camps and so many different programs, how do you decide which one is right for you? Here are a few things to consider when choosing a session:
Each of our four camps is unique and offers different types of activities. Start by taking a few minutes to virtually visit our camps and see what each camp has to offer.
Type of Program
Although resident and day camp are the most common types of summer camp, we also offer some really cool weekend, troop, and family programs at our camps during the summer months.
Visit the summer camp programs page to see what each session is about. Sessions may offer a little of everything the camp has to offer, or may focus on a specific activity. Some sessions require trips out of camp and some sessions are for campers with previous experience.
Take time to read the descriptions of each session. Maybe you want to do something you have done before or maybe you want to try something new! The great thing about Girl Scout camp is that it’s perfect place to try a new activity.
Family Camp and Troop Programs
Not sure if your camper is ready to go on her own? Check out a Mom and Me or Dad and Me session. We also have family camp and troop camp programs!
Do you have a family vacation planned? Are you signed up for other summer activities? Kept that in mind as you look at the dates because some sessions are only offered during specific weeks.
Our camp sessions range from 3 days to 2 weeks. If you are worried about your daughter being away from home, then start with a shorter session. If you really love camp and want to get into more advanced activities come for a longer session.
Our camps are very affordable. But if the session you want to attend is too expensive for the family budget, we offer scholarships and camperships. Here’s how to to learn more!
And don’t forget that Cookie Dough and Program Credits can be earned by girls for selling Girl Scout cookies and Fall Product and used to pay for summer camp.
