Confirmation of Registration

You will see a detailed receipt on your screen upon completion of the registration process. This receipt is your activity registration confirmation; if you do not automatically receive a detailed receipt, you have not completed the registration process. For some events, additional confirmations will be sent via email with more activity information.

To view events you are registered for, log in to MyGS and click MyActivities. Clicking the information icon next to each event will provide you additional information.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to reghelp@girlscoutsaz.org. The refund policy is as follows.

Girl Program/Adult Training/Troop Camp/Family Camp
  • If the event requires a deposit, deposits are non-refundable
  • You may swap participants up to the day of the event
  • Refunds will not be given for programs or events under $5
  • All other events will be processed as follows:
    • 16 business days before the event – 100%
    • 11-15 business days before the event – 75%
    • 6-10 business days before the event – 50%
    • 5 or fewer business days before the event – no refund given
Summer Camp

Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the session cost is required at the time of registration for day and resident camper sessions. Family and Troop Camp registration must include a $30 per person deposit. The deposit is applied to the cost of the session. Deposits are not transferable to another camper.

Refunds, Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations received in writing up to 10 days before the start of a session will be refunded, less the deposit. Bus fees are refundable up to 10 days before the start of a session. Requests for refunds will only be considered until the end of August each camp season. Non-refundable camp fees are not transferable to other campers. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

If a camper must leave camp early due to illness, injury or a death in the family, the camp fee minus the deposit will be prorated and refunded. Camp fees will not be refunded if a camper leaves a session due to homesickness or misconduct.

Council Sponsored Travel Opportunity Programs

(Domestic/International Destinations for Girls)

  • If the event requires a deposit, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Once group tickets (airline, hotel, facility admissions) have been purchased, refunds will not be permitted.  (Based upon purchase, participant swaps may be permitted up to 2 weeks before event)
  • See the program description to view program specific refund policy. If no refund policy is listed the Travel refund policy, as written, will apply.
Council Sponsored Program/Event Cancellation

In the event Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus Pine Council finds it necessary to cancel an event or program, all troops/groups or individuals having submitted registrations and payments for that event or program will receive a full refund of all payments made via council check.

Playing with Fire 2 - Intro to Welding

Date: Sat Oct 27, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM MST

Location: 2950 West Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85017, USA

Experience welding. Attend a power point presentation and a safety talk before you experience your hands-on activity. Weld your own creations with the assistance from welding instructors. You will be provided with all the safety equipment you need and one on one professional support. Participants must be 12 years old or older to register for Playing with Fire 2. Please note: Due to the nature of the program, this is NOT a drop off event. Adults are required as chaperones. Playing with Fire 1

Date: Sat Oct 27, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM MST

Location: The Arizona Pipe Trades Training Center 2950 West Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85017, USA

Learn about the trade of plumbing and pipefitting. Participants will learn about safety. Girl scouts will have the opportunity to solder copper tubing and fittings, cut pipe threads, cement plastic pipe and fittings, take apart a sink p-trap and reinstall, as well as learn about different kinds of pipe, fittings, hardware and tools.

Start the night by earning one badge, girls will pre-register: Options: Cadette Eating for Beauty, Book Artist, Animal Helpers Senior: Sky, Game Visionary, Car Care Ambassador: Dinner Party, On My Own After badge activity is Hang time, take advantage of the State of the Art Gymnasium, STEM labs and activities with your Girl Scout friends.

Brownie Bugs Badge

Design a bug poster before you arrive, labeling your bug with information specific to its type, research your favorite bug or choose from an assortment provided at the i.d.e.a. Museum! Then, let your imagination take flight and construct your own bug. Become an entomologist by viewing the bugs that come seeking shelter and food, then build and bring home an insect feeding station.
