Graffiti vandalism negatively impacts the community in many ways. It makes neighborhoods feel unsafe, harms the environment and is costly to remove.
Troop 19 usually walk and hike a popular trail nearby. When they discovered a wall was covered in graffiti, the girls were determined to remove it to make their neighborhood a cleaner and more inviting environment.
To do this, they partnered with City of Phoenix, who supplied them with paint, paint rollers and trays. With the help of family and friends, the wall was revitalized and uplifted! Great work, Troop 19!
