Religious Recognitions

My Promise, My Faith is a pin that can be earned by girls every year they are Girl Scouting. The pin was developed by Girl Scouts USA as an opportunity for girls to make a connection between the Girl Scout Promise and the specific tenets of their faith traditions. Comprehensive information about how to earn the My Promise, My Faith pin at each level can be found in the Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting, available through the Council Shop.

There are also Religious Recognition awards that are developed and managed independently through faith communities that give girls the opportunity to deepen their relationship with their faith. You can learn more about the organizations that partner with Girl Scouts USA for Religious Recognitions through the P.R.A.Y publishing website.

There are faith communities who are not affiliated with the P.R.A.Y organization and offer Religious Recognitions for Girl Scouts independently – those communities can be contacted directly for additional information.

Girl Scouts who participate in Religious Recognitions are encouraged to report their success for publication in theListening Post magazine, which is published three times a year. There is also an annual recognition ceremony to celebrate these accomplishments. Use this form to report completion of Religious Recognitions.
