Cookie Program Resources
Welcome Volunteers!

Thank you for participating in this year’s Cookie Program. The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the nation’s largest girl-run business, helps girls develop important leadership abilities, and you are integral to its success.

These resources will not only help you foster skills and service, but will also provide important logistical information to help manage the cookies process in your Service Unit or Troop.

This year, we have set a sales goal of 3.3 million packages, and have a new direct-sale or “Cookies Now!” process, proven by pilot councils to be simpler and more rewarding. If you have yet to read about this update, please do so, here.

Your encouragement, coaching, and guidance will be key ingredients of a successful experience for girls and volunteers. We truly appreciate all you do to help girls during Cookie Season and throughout the year!

Below you will find resources needed for the Cookie Program. If you have any questions, please contact the product program team: productprogram@girlscoutsaz.org.

Maximize Your Cookie Marketing
The GSACPC Marketing Communications team has put together a strategy to heighten visibility of cookies and support sales efforts. One of the simplest ways you can maximize your time is to repurpose these tools when communicating to your customers or local media contacts.
  • Press Kithere are the key communications documents to use when conducting media outreach in your neighborhood
  • Social Media – GSACPC is offering an abundance of fun and an easy way to market to your customers!

  • Save time by sharing the fun content GSACPC creates on your Profile(s). A couple clicks and you are done!
    • Keep GSACPC in the loop and we can share for you!
    • Do you know you can post to our council wall on Facebook? Or tag us @GSACPC in a tweet?!
    • Use one of GSACPC’s cover photos on your own profiles
    • New to social media? Here’s a good way to get started and you can learn as you go:
      • Go to the GSACPC Facebook page.
      • Click ‘Like’ to become a fan and connect with the council page
      • Click on ‘invite’ to have your customers connect with the page
      • Interact throughout cookie season so your customers can see cookie content in their news feed. You can do this simply by ‘liking’ and commenting on GSACPC posts!
