This year's conference will be Thursday February 19, 2009 at the Desert Willow Conference Center.
Life transitions can be challenging for anyone. For tweens and teens, these transitions are critical steps as they navigate through their world.
During the unpredictable years of adolescence, youth find that they take on new challenges and responsibility; have more choices, both good and bad; and may experience a new sense of freedom. This time of their lives presents transitions that are both negative and positive, forcing them to let go of the familiar and face the future.
Plan to attend this full day conference that examines transitions at difference stages of girls’ lives and how teachers, counselors and parents can give guidance and support in daily living.
Check out the Girl Scout Research Institute newsletter for information on advocacy, groundbreaking studies, and the essential resources for advancement.
