In 2012, Girl Scouts of the USA will mark 100 years of inspiring girls and young women with the ideals of courage, confidence and character. Millions of active Girl Scouts, volunteers and alumnae will come together to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts. What will you be doing? 5K THIN MINT SPRINT/BRIDGING TO THE NEXT CENTURY OF GIRL SCOUTING
March 2012
Girl Scouts and family members will participate in a 5k run. Then take a symbolic walk over a bridge from the first 100 years of Girl Scouting to the next 100 years. At the end of the bridging ceremony, there will be a variety of booths/events.

Teen Girl Scouts will be invited to join in a day of advocacy and pride at the Arizona State Capitol.

CENTENNIAL JAMBOREE 2012
Friday, April 13 – Sunday, April 15, 2012
Girl Scout Junior-Ambassador, Registered Leaders/Advisors from Arizona Cactus-Pine and Sahuaro Councils turn back the clock to 1912 during a camp out for over 1200 participants at YMCA Chauncey Ranch.

GIRL SCOUTS FOREVER GREEN (GSFG)
This Girl Scouts of USA 100th Anniversary Take Action Project is a national effort of girls leading their families, schools, and communities in improving the environment and protecting natural resources. GSFG invites girls to Take Action on three major projects, completed in assigned months. We encourage every member to Take Action and participate in GSFG. IT'S IN THE BAG CAPSTONE EVENT!
K-12 and family

All Girl Scouts are invited to celebrate the achievements of our council's It’s in the Bag program during a day-long event at the Phoenix Zoo. This event will include a box lunch with special earth day activities offered by leading Arizona state environmental agencies.
